” I originally crossed paths with Clare at the beginning of my wedding planning, after she was recommended by our wedding venue. She was incredibly kind and friendly and really helped me latch on to a vision. Unfortunately, at that point in our planning we were not looking at a lot of flowers and weren’t able to reach the minimum spend threshold. We decided not to move forwards but parted happily and with a much clearer vision thanks to Clare.
Fast-forward to three months before the big day and I confided in a friend I thought I’d made a mistake by not moving forwards with See Rose Floral Design. Thanks to Clare’s initial guidance I now had a very clear floral vision which (from drooling over Instagram) I knew Clare could achieve perfectly. Additionally, having added a few more to our wedding party and expanded our ceremony décor we were now In line with the minimum spend. I lamented my loss but with only three months’ notice (and committed to another florist) lament was all I could do.
That is, until 8 weeks before the wedding. After receiving an email to tell me that my florist was cancelling on me and a mini meltdown, I emailed Clare. I expected a ‘sorry but I am busy’. Six hours later, she tells me she is booked but will do everything she can do to make it work so she can help us with flowers. Within days we had created a mood board, set up a colour scheme and created an invoice. Most importantly, Clare reassured me and filled me with confidence that my flowers would be stunning.
On the day, Clare arrived and set up the arch and ensured all the bridal party flowers were kept hydrated. I saw her very briefly and I was able to gush a little about how much I loved the flowers and how blown away I was by the details – ensuring the grooms boutonnière didn’t include flowers that would make him sneeze, matching my roses to the mocha of my dress (I still have no clue how she did this!), matching corsages to the individual mum dresses . These are just some of the incredible things she created for us in 8 weeks!
I was in love with my bouquet, it could not have been more perfect. We went on honeymoon very quickly after our wedding, so I was not able to enjoy my flowers for as long as I would have liked – though they had pride of place in my mother-in-law’s living room for well over a week. Clare provided me with a scented candle which matched the scent of my flowers, the most incredible touch, and an instant reminder of how much I loved my flowers and the magical day we had.
I only have one regret – and not booking Clare in the first place!

” Thank you so much for the beautiful flower decorations you made for our wedding at the Oak Barn. Despite the challenges with various date changes, seasonal changes, pricing changes etc etc, you were very helpful throughout and your advice about various plant and flower options were fantastic.
The choice and variety of flowers were absolutely perfect, and totally matched the overall look and feel we had envisaged as part of our celebrations. I lost count of the number of people that complimented my bouquet, and I have to say they are lasting extremely well a week after the event! They were perfect. The table decorations were beautiful, and it was great we could give them to friends and staff at the Oak Barn to take away with them at the end of the night. We are waiting for our full selection of wedding photos from our photographer, but for now, here are a small selection of photos from family and friends that show the various flower decorations. We’ll share more with you when we get them.
Both our mums were over the moon with their flowers too. Similarly, both of them have continued to send us lots of photos of their bouquets over the past week, showing how the lilies have started to come into full bloom. Thank you for making their flowers and we know it meant a lot to both of them to receive them.

From when Clare and I first exchanged emails, I knew very quickly that she was the florist I wanted to work with. She’s incredibly professional and knowledgeable – constantly making great suggestions – but she’s also very personable and friendly. She helped revise our quote to ensure the flowers for all parts of the wedding day would be perfect, but also within my budget. I first came across See Rose Floral Design online 2 years ago when I started planning our wedding & within 5 seconds of seeing photos I knew I wanted them to be our florists for the big day, before I decided on virtually anything else. “I came across See Rose Floral Design on Instagram where I saw a styled shoot she had done and fell in love with her work.
Clare was amazing from the very first contact right up to the day. We spoke at length on the phone about ideas and then met at the venue to go over everything in more detail. I changed my mind quite a few times and she was always happy to listen and go through my new ideas.
Unfortunately due to Covid we had to postpone our May wedding to next year.
Clare was on hand to help where she could and rearranged everything for our new date.
We decided some time in July that we didn’t want to wait until next year so managed to a secure a date at our church for the end of August. Luckily Clare was available so we scaled down the original plan and came up with new ideas for the day. She suggested some aisle flowers to help make the church look a little less empty (what with a 30 person limit!) which could be moved on to the reception venue. The flowers were everything I hoped for and more. She included ivy in my bouquet as a special tribute to my nan. Everyone commented on just how beautiful they were. Clare didn’t just stop at flowers. She helped me choose flower girl dresses and was always there to listen when I was stressed about something or other! Her passion for her work really shows and she is a beautiful person inside and out. We didn’t get the day we had originally planned but it was still special and all the more so thanks to Clare and everything she did.
