About me

I’m a wedding florist with 20 years of experience in creating stunning floral designs for weddings and events. From the initial concept to the final event, I manage every aspect of the floral arrangements and décor. I thrive on taking initial ideas and transforming them into unique designs that not only delight my clients but also surprise their guests.

In 2005, I completed a Floristry Business Course at the Judith Blacklock Flower School in Knightsbridge, where I gained the fundamental skills and techniques of floristry. I then went on to complete a Higher Diploma in Floristry. At 25, I opened my first florist shop, followed by a second the next year. While I enjoyed the retail side of floristry, my true passion was always weddings and events, and sharing my skills and experience with others, which eventually led me to where I am today with See Rose Floral Design.

I love working with fresh flowers and foliage, but I also enjoy incorporating unique materials and textures, such as dried, preserved, and bleached botanicals, to give my designs an edge.

My approach is personal and honest, influenced by the things I genuinely love. I enjoy getting to know my clients and hearing about their plans for the day – I believe this connection is reflected in the final designs. For larger events, I collaborate with a fantastic team of florists who share my work ethic and appreciate my sense of humour (or at least they humour me).

Based on the border of Sussex and Kent, I am surrounded by some beautiful wedding venues, many of which list me as a preferred supplier.

I make the most of our location with walks along the beach, and through the local countryside with my family and dogs as well as paddle boarding along the river. I’m powered by tea and enjoy the simple things in life – good company, good food, and the good life.

Love,
Clare x
